Comparison
EveryAction pricing, and an alternative for field scheduling
EveryAction is a nonprofit CRM from Bonterra. CRM means customer relationship manager. It holds donors, email, and advocacy. We are not a CRM. We are the shift grid, the gap panel, and the 7am coverage report.
What each tool is for
EveryAction handles relationships and money. The donor file. The email program. Advocacy actions. Its volunteer features are mostly about recording what people did, plus events through Mobilize.
What it does not do is schedule a field program. There is no grid of voting sites and early voting places. Nothing flags one person booked twice. Nothing ranks who to ask for tomorrow's gaps. And there is no coverage report in the morning.
So groups on EveryAction still run that schedule in a spreadsheet next to it.

They work side by side
Keep EveryAction for the relationships and the money. Export your volunteer list as a spreadsheet and upload it here. The names are merged and ready to book in one pass.
Nothing syncs back, and nothing needs to. EveryAction knows who your supporters are. We know where each of them is standing on Saturday morning.
The honest trade
If your main problem is donors, email, and advocacy, EveryAction is the right shape and we are a poor substitute.
If your problem is a field program with wards, voting sites, and one day that decides everything, a CRM leaves you building the real schedule in a spreadsheet.
We are $99 a month, need no voter file, and 14 days free runs the full product on your real list.

EveryAction questions
Does Capstone Volunteer replace EveryAction?
No. EveryAction is a CRM for donors, email, and advocacy. We are field shift scheduling. Groups that need both keep both, connected by a spreadsheet export.
How do we move our volunteer list?
Export it from EveryAction as a spreadsheet and upload it. We match your columns, clean phones and wards, and merge duplicates against your list.
Do you do events?
Yes. Public event pages with time slots, caps, sign-ups, and reminders. They feed the same volunteer list as the shift grid.

Know by Friday who is covering Saturday
- Every shift sits on one grid, from canvass launches to election day.
- The gap panel ranks who to ask by ward and by who shows up.
- Reminders go out the day before, and no-shows are tracked.
The gap panel tells you who to text for each open shift. In a 2020 test with 1,220 volunteers, people asked by text showed up more than 3 times as often as people sent only an email. Read the study.
