Download for SheetsTips for a sign-up sheet that fills
- Use short time slots. Two hours is easier to say yes to than a whole day.
- Put the date, the place, and a contact at the top of the sheet.
- Ask for a phone number. You will need it to confirm the day before.
- Fill the first two rows yourself. Empty sheets look like nobody is coming.
- Type the names into your list the same day, while you can still read them.
For a campaign, skip the retyping
Paper sheets work. But someone has to type every name, and handwriting gets lost.
Capstone Volunteer gives each campaign a printable QR code. People scan it and sign up on their phone in under a minute. Their name goes straight into your volunteer list, ready to book into a shift.
